City of Quincy Reuse Wastewater Central Facility - Quincy

The Project installs multiple wastewater pumping systems for the City’s Water Reuse Utility and a neutralization system for the Ultrafiltration (UF) System the City provides that will connect to existing infrastructure. Work will be in the existing Reuse Filter Building and F3 Building and in the Primary Treatment Facility yard and includes: • Demolishing and salvaging existing equipment and material; • Installing the UF neutralization system and associated equipment; • Installing new pumping systems (and all associated equipment) including: Industrial Filtered Effluent, Reuse Wastewater (RWW), UF Feed, UF CIP Waste Transfer, and Neutralization Transfer; • Installing a diesel powered bypass pump and associated piping and appurtenances for bypassing Lift Station No. 2; • Modifying an abandoned clarifier to construct a new wet well for the RWW pumps; • Removing, repairing and replacing a portion of the roof on the F3 Building to allow access for demolishing existing equipment and installing new equipment; • Rehabilitating the F3 Building infrastructure including: sandblasting and recoating of structural steel, replacing roofing screws and gaskets, demolishing and replacing insulation, and demolishing an existing crane; • Modifying existing infrastructure, piping and electrical systems; • Relocating an existing shed and office trailer; • Relocating laboratory equipment and SCADA control system; • Constructing new infrastructure, process mechanical, piping, architectural, structural, plumbing, building mechanical, electrical and instrumentation & control system components and equipment. • Site modifications including construction of new equipment, new transformer, above-grade and below-grade utilities.
