City of Post Falls Water Reclamation Facility Outfall CMGC - ARI
The City desires to select a CMGC to provide pre-construction and construction services for a new Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Outfall and discharge diffuser into the Spokane River. A reuse water pipeline and controls conduit will parallel the outfall and extend under the entire width of the river. The project will install the following components for the City of Post Falls Water Reclamation Facility: • New WRF Outfall Diffuser and Discharge Pipeline – This portion of the work consists of approximately 400 linear feet of pipeline (30-inch diameter pipe is anticipated) parallel to and upstream from the existing outfall. The work begins at Lundy Boulevard and continues south to the discharge point in the Spokane River (approximately 85 linear feet beyond the ordinary highwater mark). The existing outfall is expected to remain in place and in service during the construction of the new outfall line. Fittings and valves will connect the new and existing outfall pipeline allowing multiple points of discharge from the WRF. The size, type, final alignment, and diffuser arrangement will be determined through the design process. • New Reuse Pipeline – This portion of the work consists of approximately 700 linear feet of pipeline parallel to the new outfall line from Lundy Boulevard South beyond the ordinary high water mark on to the southern side of the Spokane River. The size, type, and number of pipelines crossing the river will be determined through the design process.
